MoveOn wields independent political power by bringing millions together to take action to create a country with a place of honor and dignity for everyone. Education & Advocacy - Digital Organizing: MoveOn.org Civic Action leverages digital technology to drive rapid-response campaigns at scale during high-impact moments, while building sustainable campaigns that resonate and grow over time. Millions of MoveOn members take action through a plethora of tactics: organizing or attending in-person mobilizations, hosting community events, signing petitions, calling their elected officials, and more. Thousands of grassroots leaders have also participated in MoveOn virtual and in-person trainings designed to strengthen their skills to organize in their communities. MoveOn's model allows it to mobilize millions to take action to protect and strengthen democracy, advance progressive foreign policy across the globe, and fight for economic justice, (See Schedule O) climate justice, health care for all, and so much more. Leading into 2024, MoveOn witnessed the rapid evolution of digital organizing and mobilization tactics. With increased reliance on digital platforms for engagement, in 2024 MoveOn worked to modernize how we engage in digital organizing in order to continue to drive impact on a host of issues our members care deeply about.
