The Leadership Conference Education Fund Inc

Overview

Mission

Build public will for federal policies that promote and protect civil and human rights, and empower and mobilize advocates around the country to push for progressive change in the united states.

What it reported doing in 2024

Census & data equity: this program works to achieve more robust and inclusive data collection, analysis, and reporting - including through the decennial census and american community survey- in order to identify and remedy disparities that undermine equal opportunity and harm marginalized communities. The program is building off the successful work to achieve an accurate and inclusive count in the 2020 census to develop a continuous and informed census strategy between decennial counts that involves public education, communications outreach, and field mobilization. The program is also expanding its focus beyond our census work to achieve better data collection policies and practice more broadly in a number of areas, including health and health care.
