Woodplanters Days Celebration Committee

We hold an annual community celebration each year. this is the longest consistent running festival in wa state. we just held our 103rd event. we create an event for all of the local non-profit's to highlight their org's and put on small fundraisers in one weekend. there is the carnival, the saturday market vendors, all kinds of food, and different booths put on by all of our local non profits. there is also a parade, and a car show, and many, many more activities. all of which are put on by different local non-profit orgs. this is a celebration of when the dikes held and the farmers crops no longer flooded... the event is called planters days each year, in recognition of fact that the farmers could plant their crops. it is a wonderful small town tradition which 3000-5000 people attend each year. we have three princesses and one of whom is crowned during the weekend as miss woodland for the next year. the princess sell raffle tickets to help raise funds to put this event on each year.
