also a parade, and a car show, and many, many more activities. all of which are put on by different local non-profit orgs. this is a celebration of when the dikes held and the farmers crops no longer flooded... the event is called planters days each year, in recognition of fact that the farmers could plant their crops. it is a wonderful small town tradition which 3000-5000 people attend each year. we have three princesses and one of whom is crowned during the weekend as miss woodland for the next year. the princess sell raffle tickets to help raise funds to put this event on each
