Sustainable Cotton Project

The Organization's primary purpose is to conduct research and educational activities with regard to the sustainable production, manufacturing and use practices throughout the cotton value chain in order to create a healthy industry for growers, their communities, manufacturers, retailers and users of cotton products.Since 2010, the organization has added the sustainable production of alfalfa and almonds to the organization, encouraging the use of biologically based production practices in these two crops as well as cotton. Since 1996, SCP has brought farmers, manufacturers, and consumers together.
