IRS 990 Nonprofit Profile
Arts In Prison
Arts in Prison (AIP) provides arts education and experiences to the incarcerated in order to support a change in their thinking and to promote pro-social decision making. AIP utilizes the arts to inspire positive change in the incarcerated, to reduce recidivism and to reconnect offenders to their community. AIP helps inmates to prepare to return to society and educates the community so that they might be more willing to receive returning citizens in a more positive and hopeful manner.
