Part iii - primary exempt purpose:pima county interfaith civic education organization (ceo) is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to civic education for systemic change. membership is institutional including 27 congregations, unions and secular groups. this training organization develops skills of low/middle class residents so they may use their voices and power for the common good. part iii line 28 - statement of program accomplishments:trained over 400 local leaders including a 3-day leadership development course in spanish in november.Held 120 house meetings in 23 institutions with 1,200 participants to listen to the concerns of families in local areas around pima county.Did over 20 civic academies with over 400 participants to teach about civic engagement in the areas of education, community infrastructure and food insecurity.Met with legislators in order to discuss programs that affect families and children.Met with county leaders in support of investment in training and living-wage jobs and county infrastructure. held a session with over 150 community members to discuss workforce development, drugs, literacy, parks and other issues of concern to families.Hosted an accountability session with 700 community members and 10 political candidates to learn about the issues affecting our communities and strategies to address them. did outreach to new institutions and 10 potential member institutions.
