support of investment in training and living wages jobs and county infrastructure. advocated for the increase of $1.7 million for jobpath (workforce development program), to help more families to get out of poverty through education and workforce development. held three jobpath civic academies to educate the community about this program and how to apply. held three sessions/trainings on let us dream by pope francis with 50 leaders each. held a three-day training on zoom with over 50 community leaders from 4 new organizations. did outreach to seven new organizations/potential sure they were not isolated. also, this tool helped us to understand the needs they were facing. many of the stories we heard were related to the lack of food, and the risk of getting evicted. also, the lack of access to testing.We develop a series of workshops where we taught people how to apply for the resources they needed. also, we strongly advocated with elected officials to allocate the needed resources to help our families. pciceo has worked diligently on a strategy to allocate needed investments into on-going relief efforts for community recovery. pcieo met with county supervisors and administrators of pima county to advocate for the need for increased funding for jobpath. we were successful on obtaining an increase of $750,000, over the prior year funding. a total of $1.4 million was allocated to help low income to get trained to enter the new workforce post-pandemic. 40% of this money was used to help students pay rent and living expenses during the pandemic. pcieo hosted a virtual accountability session with over 300 community leaders, with the goal of entering into conversation with local law enforcement agencies to accept parish issued photo identification. immigrant families would benefit from an id that would be recognized for purposes such as traffic stops, witnessing crimes, or for victims of criminal activity. pciceo collaborated with the pima county health department to bring free covid-19 testing to more than 10 parishes in vulnerable areas in the county. pciceo had education sessions to educate people on how to apply for unemployment, food resources, rental assistance, and health care. in addition, pciceo worked diligently this fall on voter education and outreach. we targeted four low-voter turnout precincts and called voters one by one to educate them about the importance of voting and to encourage voter participation. those precincts, after the election saw an increase of voter from 17%, 18%, 21%, and 19%. this was a
