Csms-ipa Charitable Organization INC

The purpose of the csms-ipa charitable organization, inc.(the "organization") is to provide education to physicians, patients and the general public about health prevention efforts, health care coordination, and the effective management and delivery of patient care, including but not limited to patient-centered practice models and the benefits of health information technology on patient care. The organization plans to present symposia, distribute literature, sponsor seminars, provide education and otherwise disseminate to the medical community and the public at large information about health and medical models to enhance patient care. In addition, the organization plans to explore educational partnering to create outreach programs for the medical community and general public on current topics of importance to patient care, including but not limited to advances that can improve patient care and the physician-patient relationship, to help members of the community live healthy,active lives. The organization intends to conduct activities on a rolling basis as time and scheduling permits in order to highlight issues of importance, recent developments and areas of concern. The contemplated activities further the organization's exempt purposes by providing the public and physicians with resources and education about health care matters. The board of directors will oversee the activities of the organization. The board of directors will delegate individuals form the organization to manage the organization's day-to-day affairs. The organization anticipates that the cooperation of the connecticut state medical society-ipa, inc. Will enable it to conduct its activities through volunteers rather than through employees of the organization. The organization anticipates that a strong majority of its time will be allocated to planning, organizing, implementing and conducting these activities. Going forward, it is expected that the organization will be funded by one or more grants. Additional funding may be received from private and public sources.
