IRS 990 Nonprofit Profile
Hartsville Northern League
Hartsville northern league (hnl) is a baseball league that runs in affiliation with diamond youth baseball (formerly, dixie youth baseball). our goal is to be a place where children in the hartsville community can grow as a baseball player and enjoy being a part of a team. our hope is to continue our growth as a league to be able to teach more kids about the exciting game of baseball. the main purpose of the program is to provide a recreation outlet for as many as possible with emphasis being on local league play rather than tournament play. the real purpose of diamond youth baseball is not winning championships, but teaching youngsters to play baseball while having fun, how to do their best and accept the results, to work each day to make their playing ability a little better than it was yesterday, but never forgetting the fun one gets from playing the game.
