local league play rather than tournament play. the real purpose of diamond youth baseball is not winning championships, but teaching youngsters to play baseball while having fun, how to do their best and accept the results, to work each day to make their playing ability a little better than it was yesterday, but never forgetting the fun one gets from playing the
