Mission

Together with our community, Maui Humane Society improves the lives of animals through humane care, compassion, and respect.

What it reported doing in 2024

Other program services: the hope fund program gives injured and/or sick homeless animals a second chance for life by providing the funds for them to receive special medical care. The transfer and wings of aloha programs transferred 729 animals to adoption-guaranteed rescues and shelters thus saving more animals lives. The society offers direct release services for those bringing pets to Hawaii. The society operates one of only two crematoriums for animals on maui. The development and community outreach department strives to inform and educate the public, adults and children, about the society's life-saving work for the animals of maui.
