The corporation and its assets are dedicated to organizing, promoting and conducting motor sports events, including by not limited to tractor and truck pulling contests and demolition derbys, for the entertainment of the general public and betterment of the community. all members are volunteers and 100% of time is given and 100% of receipts is derived from conducting these 2 events/year. they are held in conjunction with the annual roanoke fall festival the first weekend after labor day. rtpa's facilities are owned by the town of roanoke and 100% of proceeds are put back into the park itself and giving back to the community. donations include but limited to: first responders, fire, police, roanoke youth sports, 4-h, ffa, veterans organizations, and other support to the town of roanoke, roanoke park, and surrounding community
