The book exchange of marin is a community service organization run entirely by volunteers who believe in the power of literacy to change lives. we promote child literacy, encourage a love of reading, and work to ensure that all children have access to books. donations from our generous supporters fund classroom field trips from schools in marins most under- resourced communities to our facility, where we help each child choose a bag of free books to take home. we also provide books at little or no cost to teachers, families and to nonprofit organizations
