Pulama Ia Kona was established with a mission to preserve, protect and enhance the special qualities of historic Kona. Pulama is dedicated to educating the community about the importance of retaining Kona's sense of place through the preservation of its historic landscapes, architecture, roadways, archeology and view planes. It encourages the adaptive reuse of historic buildings located along Mamalahoa Highway.
