North east trees (net) creates greener communities through community-based urban forestry, nature-based design-build of parks, community engagement, and youth workforce development. our projects, which take place in parks, schoolyards, public housing developments, and the city right-of-way, benefit communities that are disinvested, overburdened, and historically under-served. we are la's oldest design-build non profit and a recognized leader across the state for actualizing grassroots community ideas to achieve projects that prioritize nature in neighborhoods that need them the most. we envision a los angeles where all neighborhoods have access to a healthy urban forest and outdoor spaces.
