The primary mission of the kiwanis club of long beach is to promote social welfare in our local community. we do this by: 1) bringing together local businesses and other persons in a social environment, typically luncheon meetings, where new members have a chance to introduce themselves and also state their purpose for being in business. this activity allows for networking among local community members; 2) helping our local kids one need at a time. we are dedicated to providing children in need with the tools and opportunities that lead to lifelong success. we believe in changing the world one child at a time. the club works closely with our local school social workers and community leaders to provide assistance to the children who need it most.
