At hong de wu guan, inc. we recognize the immense potential of young people, even those who face personal setbacks such as financial difficulties or family stresses, and we strive to empower them through the transformative power of traditional chinese martial arts and culture, particularly, through the vibrant tradition of lion dance. as a team-based performance art, lion dance teaches young people the value of collaboration, discipline, and perseverance in achieving a common goal. by working together to master the intricate choreography and acrobatic feats of lion dance, our students develop physical strength, mental fortitude, and a sense of belonging to a supportive community. through this engaging and dynamic art form, we inspire our students to see beyond their present circumstances and envision a brighter future for themselves. our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where young people can discover their potential, build their confidence and overcome obstacles.
