The vision of maryland family scholar house inc. is to address of the needs of students and families that have been unsuccessful in the traditional school setting by offering a needs-specific, individualized learning experience. the mission of maryland family scholar house inc. is to provide a two-generation service educational model which integrates an innovative experiential learning curriculum, data-driven instructional practices, individualized academic support, and family-focused support services, which will lead to academic success, improved health and wellness, and the obtainment of a high school diploma ensuring post-secondary success for all students (comar 13a.03.02.03b). at maryland family scholar house inc. we believe that in order to disrupt inequity in education, a two-generation model must be used focusing on strong parent partnerships and layered support services.
