Inspired by the legacy of 5-year-old sidney olson, our mission to make every massachusetts community a place where kids feel free to walk, run, bike, and roll. we give a voice to the vulnerable in the fight for safer streets and vehicles - and open doors for kids to embrace healthy lifestyles early in life. the missions of the sidney mae olson rainbow fund are to help families in the new england area realize their full potential by providing access to and funding for (i) curiosity-based educational programs, including full-time and part-time schooling and camps, (ii) public-safety programs with a focus on pedestrian and cyclist safety for vulnerable populations, and (iii) amateur sports programs intended to foster a love of running, biking and swimming. in furtherance of such purposes, the corporation shall have the same powers as an individual to do all things necessary or convenient to carry out the purposes.
