Our mission is to break the cycle of violence and build a thriving community of rooted leaders in wake county through prevention, intervention, healing and advocacy. as raleigh and the surrounding municipalities emerge from the covid-19 pandemic, crime in general, and particularly violent crime, has risen according to most recent reports by various agencies. this affects not only the direct victims of violence, but also the communities who are caught in its wake.Our goal is to continue to make our community a safe and welcoming environment for anyone who wishes to live here. boots, community partners, and the cvi ecosystem will use a holistic approach to improve the quality of life for all residents and aim to end the current violence.
