To provide international trade and business services to members and community partners across the state of alaska through: 1) annual conference- provides an instructional forum for companies to learn about the changing international business environment. Allows well- known speakers a chance to reach alaskan companies. About 200 participants annually. 2) trade missions- allow delegates of alaska business people to meet face- to-face with business and goverment representatives from other countries and discuss business conditions, regulations and facilitate trade activity 2-3 times annually. 3) state contract projects- these projects include trade missions, conferences, forums, exhibitions, surveys and the building of web link and database for alaska international business. 3-4 projects annually and involve hundreds of people & organizations annually. 4) membership luncheons- a networking opportunity for members & those seeking involvement in the international trade community.
