Jwg's mission is to catalyze financial and volunteer support to help at- risk youth overcome barriers so they stay in school, graduate, and transition to continued education and careers. to do this, we partner with employers to provide jobs, internships, training, mentorships, job shadowing, and tours and raise funds to eliminate financial barriers to success (bus passes, testing and credentialing fees, id fees, professional clothing for job interviews and employment); cover costs associated with college tours and leadership development opportunities; and provide technology needed for schoolwork and job search. jwg accomplishes this objective by partnering with jobs for america's graduates (jag). jag is a national organization with state-level affiliates in 32 states.
