The mission of urban teaching corps is to develop a corps of talented, passionate and committed future educators who are prepared to dedicate themselves to teaching urban youth and closing the achievement gap. urban teaching corps will recruit prospective teachers and train them through both a rigorous summer induction program and ongoing workshops. additonally, we will provide personal development opportunities and place them in public schools, including charter schools, for a two year apprecticeship.
