Youth business week foundation-california (ybw) sponsers an annual, week long program which provides high school students the opportunity to participate in creating and running a mock publicly held corporation. The purpose is to expose students to the actual challenges involve in running a business in combination with developing a business team. This experience is intended to help students focus on areas of study and/or exploration for their future goals. It exposes the students to college level curriculum, presents business as an opportunity, and highlights the value of team building.
