Flickr Charitable Foundation
Our mission is to keep flickr pictures visible for 100 years. we are in the early stages of building out the technical and social infrastructures to underpin this mission, including an innovative tool called data lifeboat, designed to package up sets of flickr pictures for deposit elsewhere. we deployed a new discovery interface through which to enjoy and learn about our flagship program, flickr commons, and welcomed our first pair of research fellows to the group to study how the reproductive experience is represented in the flickr corpus.
