The mission at nates place, a wellness and recovery center, is to deliver targeted programs, healthy replacement activities, and 1:1 peer support recovery coaching to teens and young adults (ages 13-25), who are at risk of substance abuse and/or mental health disorders, or striving to attain and maintain sobriety and mental health in a safe, healthy manner. nate's place, a wellness and recovery center fills a gap in services for underserved,uninsured and low income individuals. we provide the following services, free of charge, with free transportation: 1. 1:1 peer support recovery coaching for every participant 2. 20+ healthy recreational activities 3. 13 groups that provide counseling, education and support 4. bi-monthly community education talks on mental health and substance use 5. teen intervene prevention groups in 13 schools across ventura county
