The Purpose of Forsyth County AuxComm is to promote, support and lead emergency communications activities that support community needs within Forsyth County and surrounding counties. The mission of Forsyth County AuxComm is to create a team of qualified volunteer auxiliary communicators, provide training and information supporting the Incident Command System and our primary served agency, Winston-Salem / Forsyth County Office of Emergency Management. Our secondary mission is to support the needs of the local and national charity organizations with event communications and promote amateur radio within the community. Forsyth County AuxComm is 100% volunteer and 100% community funded.
