The purpose of the aiga salt lake chapter is to set the local agenda for the role of design in the salt lake economic, social, political and cult- ural contexts. Aiga supports the interests of professionals, educators, and students who are engaged in the process of designing, regardless of where they are in their careers. Aiga slc chapter uses conferences, seminars and other activities to promote and inspire designers to raise awareness and provide education to the public. Aiga national serves over 16,000 members while the slc chapter provides education and services to more than 50 professionals.
