Overview

Mission

Voter engagement

What it reported doing in 2024

Bmv-caf's voter engagement work furthers our work through advocating for the protection and expansion of civil rights by increasing voter engagement within the african american community. Our voter engagement programs educate african american citizens about how to participate in the electoral process, and encourage such participation in the electoral process by conducting nonpartisan voter registration drives focused on those communities.

Operating model

Revenue model
Donor-supported. 100% of the money available for current operations came from contributions and gifts.
Distribution model
Direct operator. The filing allocates 100% of reported program-service expenses outside its grant, affiliate-payment, and member-benefit lines. This expense classification does not rule out separately announced grant awards.
