FORM 990-EZ, PART III-ORGANIZATION9S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE To promote and encourage American Square Dancing in Southern Arizona by the operation of a dance center at 613 E Delano, Tucson AZ. FORM 990-EZ, PART III,LINE 28-STATEMENT OF PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS The Old Pueblo Dance Center, located at 613 E Delano in Tucson, is the coordinating location for the teaching of Callerlab (www.callerlab.org) and Roundalab (www.roundalab.org) programs of square and round dancing in Southern Arizona. Year-round classes and workshops cover the levels Basic through Challenge of square dancing and Phases I through III of round dancing. Each dance program taught consists of a list of calls and concepts that are recognized throughout the world as the standard to be followed in teaching. After completing a program(s) dancers are assured of being able to dance the programs(s) they have learned anywhere in the world. In addition, the center provides space for affiliated local clubs of the Square and Round Association of Southern Arizona for their club dances. Space is also made available for other forms of dancing such as clogging, ballet, and youth-oriented dancing and instruction.
