The main purpose of the association namely tca-gpa is to organize the tigrean, people from the norther region of ethiopia called tigray, community in a non-profit, non-political and non-religious setting to empower the community to solve challenges commonly faced in their newly adopted home usa. as such it is exclusively a member and volunteer-based community organization and open to all tigreans regardless of their political view and stand, religion and gender. to this end the association plans to * frame strategies for actions that address our needs. * drive power from collaborated actions of our people in unity. * help us create and build future community leaders by offering capacity building training, education and resources by inviting volunteers with the respective experts. * bring members together to advocate and support each other. * have our own community center. we envision this community center will have conference room, office and computer rooms. ...
