Santa rosalia di palermo society boston is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, cultural and religious organization founded on september 4th, 1939 by italian immigrants from palermo, sicily. committed to honoring st. rosalia through prayer and devotion and continuing the mission and good works of our forefathers, the saint rosalie society is very proud to support numerous and varied charities in and around the greater boston area and especially in the north end of boston. while continuing the traditions of our forbearers and encouraging devotion to saint rosalia of palermo, the society strives to preserve and pass on the culture, history and traditions of palermitano and other sicilian americans; as well, to strengthen the communities in which our members live and socialize. supporting other non profit institutions and organizations in the north end is of particular importance to the society.
