Statement of program service accomplishments purpose: the our fallen hero foundation in memory of pfc aaron toppen's purpose is to be charitable, benevolent and patriotic raising funds in order to give back to provide emotional and financial means to our veterans, active military personnel, their families, and the community. the foundation holds fundraising events in order to support our purpose. the events held in 2020 were a a 5k run/walk and trivia night. line 28: trivia night and other events the various events held benefitted two 501(c)(3) organizations. band of brothers was one beneficiary whose purpose is to provide musical support at funeral services of firefighters, police officers, and the united states military personnel, killed in the line of duty. they received a grant of 500. the second beneficiary was to our local vfw in mokena, il who also received a grant of 500. line 29: 5k run/walk the 5k run/walk is an annual community event to bring friends and families together to honor and remember pfc aaron toppen. the beneficiary of this event from was the mokena park district foundation who received a grant of 17,429. its mission is to raise funds to provide scholarships for underprivileged children of the community, capital projects, and landscape and beautification projects. three students at lincoln-way schools also received scholarships totaling 3,000.
