Mission

The joseph rainey center for public policy, inc. Is a 501(c)3 non-partisan public policy research organization and leadership development community of local, state, and federal policymakers working to advance freedom, equality, and a more perfect union where the american dream is for everyone. Our namesake rep. Joseph rainey was born enslaved and became the first african american to serve in the united states house of representatives.

The joseph rainey center for public policy published policy and public opinion research in energy, technology, national security, economic opportunity and free & fair elections, provided digital, in-state and national policy education opportunities, provided leadership development training to over 200 state and local policymakers, and convened a national summit of local, state, and federal policy leaders to discuss current public policy challenges.
