PA United organizes and builds power across Western PA to create communities that work for all of us. Since 2018, PA United has been rebuilding organizing infrastructure in communities that have experienced historic disinvestment from both economic opportunities and organizing resources. By connecting issues and politics, as well as a theory of change deeply rooted in coalition and relationship, we are building our movement. This work has resulted in member-led chapters in key counties in Western PA, where we are building a multi-racial, poor and working class movement for long-term change. We believe that by bringing together organizations and individuals that share the value of placing people over profit, we are creating powerful permanent coaltions and long-term relationships that advance social, racial, economic, and climate justice. We work to center the people most impacted by the issues we fight, we create space for all those who share these values to be part of our movement, and we strive to connect our work in Western PA with movement organizations across the state.
