The mission of mentors in motion is to serve as a centralized network of mentors composed of various scholastic agencies, including but not limited to: business, engineering, scientific, and technological disciplines. the purpose of this centralized network is for the individual mentors in the group to collectively work together to accomplish the following: 1. to introduce science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to a greater percentage of the student bodies, families of the students, and the community alike. 2. to increase the graduation rate of local area schools. 3. to increase the number of students moving beyond secondary education into post-secondary education. 4. to provide a platform for individuals to extend their knowledge base beyond its current scope so that they have a competitive edge in tommorrow's workforce.
