The mission of the south county minority achievement committee is to understand and help eliminate achievement and opportunity gaps in the under-represented minority community. the goals and objectives we have for the south county students and community are to: 1. attain higher academic achievement, 2. increase parent and community awareness/involvement, 3. improve achievement assessment scores, 4. increase enrollment in honors and advanced placement courses, 5. increase student leadership and extra-curricular participation, 6. develop student readiness & preparedness for college or the workforce, and 7. establish & implement programs, policies, and strategies that have a positive impact on the achievement of minorities and all south county students.
