Brown County Fair Association
The association was formed to educate the public about agricultural, mechanical and household matters by conducting the annual county fair. at the fair there are many exhibits showing livestock, poultry, food products, canned goods, and homemade items. the exhibitors are 4-h members, ffa (future farmers of america) members, school children and any resident of brown county wisconsin. the projects are made or raised by the exhibitor. at the fair, state certified judges will point out the merits of one exhibit over another, and the exhibitor may be asked to tell how the product was raised or made. ribbons and cash prizes are used to enlist the interest of young people. the public is invited to attend the judging. the overall activities of the fair will be conducted in such a fashion and on such subjects that it will enlighten the viewers and participants on the newest and best techniques of farming and on mechanical and household matters.
