12 patient mentors were trained to meet with newly diagnosied patients. They attended a 10 week training. Packets of information were created for them to take to their physicians offices. Monthly meetings are held to discuss patient interaction, problems and successes. Look Good Feel Better which is an Ameican Cancer Society Program is holding their seminars in our facility. Also, the Orange County Breast Cancer Coalition meets in our office.
