We own and maintain as a historical artifact and community center, a firehouse structure that was converted to a community center in 1957. our activities are designed to build and foster a safe and caring community conducive to a healthy family life in the community and include: maintaining the firehouse structure and adjacent children's playground; providing a site for exercise classes, parties, receptions, and other activities for the benefit of the community at large; conducting seasonal events; assisting community members in understanding proposed development in the area; and other community activites including welcoming newcomers to the area, sending letters of congratulation and condolence to families as appropriate, etc.
