A) tree conservation: the abcp conservation program aims to supply: 1) tree seedlings for the long term conservation of rare and threatened species, particularly african blackwood; b) seedlings for remediation of the tree cover on mt. kilimanjaro, which is a vital watershed for a large surrounding area;3) tree species for domestic use to improve the living standards of the people who live in the area. b) environmental education: the abcp carries on educational programs to teach the local populace about the long term importance of these activities.
