Page 1, part i, 1, and page 2, part iii 1: mission statement adoption affiliates, inc. was a private, nonprofit, child-placing agency licensed in the states of texas and oklahoma. we worked with birth mothers from all states. adoption affiliates provided comprehensive services to birth parents, recruited and prepared adoptive parents for placement, supervised adoptive placements for six months, and then served as a liasion and resource for birth parents and adoptive parents. adoption affiliates was founded in 1987 to assist pregnant women who are not ready to parent and who consider fulfilling their parenting responsibility by making an adoption plan for their baby. adoption affiliates cared a great deal about the clients they worked with and assisted them as they make significant decisions about their reproductive lives and built their families. through the years we have worked with many wonderful people, birth parents and adoptive parents, and have placed over 700 precious children w
