The mission of the organization was to preserve the fredericksburg social turn verein's history through social, education and benevolence for the past, present and future. due to the loss of the building on june 19, 2016 to arson, the goals were shifted to raising funds to rebuild. after numerous fundraisers failed to raise enough funds to rebuild & as building costs increased, the decision was made to sell the property & close the organization. the property was sold to the city of fredericksburg in october, 2022. donations were refunded & sale proceeds were donated to local non-profit organizations.
