Orange county voter information project (ocvip) purpose is to conduct nonpartisan voter registration and education programs. it is our goal to increase the number of people who participate in elections. we facilitate the voter registration process and inform the community about the importance of elections and nonpartisan issues. it is important to contact voters because there are many local, state, and national issues that affect orange county communities. teaching them how to vote and encouraging voters to turn out is key to helping them augment their political influence.
