IRON HOURSE MIDDLE SCHOOL PTA is dedicated to the continuous improvement of our children's education through the guidelines established by the California PTA. We strive to keep parents informed about vital state and federal education issues, assist parents in developing the tools and skills of effective education advocacy, encourage individual and collective participation in the education process, and vigorously advocate on issues that are of concern to the local school community.The IHMS PTA works with the school staff, administration and district personnel with the collaborative goal of providing optimum education for all students. We support a variety of educational and social programs for IHMS students and teachers. This includes teacher appreciation lunches, support for activities such as the Science Fair and community outreach in the form of parent education seminars with invited speakers.
