Remaining true to its mission to delight, inspire and educate the community, south florida symphony orchestra (sfso) performed more than 50 in person concerts and events for patrons throughout the south florida region, including monroe, miami-dade and broward counties, serving approximately 30,000 members of the community. the masterworks concert series featured world-renowned soloists, including awadagin pratt, piano, huifang chen, violin and tao lin, piano and others. among the artistic highlights of the season was beethoven: symphony no. 9 in d minor, and the premiere of jessee montgomery: symphony no. 1 in c minor, op. 68. in addition, the transformative music education program, symphony in the schools, exposed more than 5,000 culturally underserved students to the magic of live classical music. the education program has expanded into junior achievement world exposing the business-side of the performing arts industry to all broward county elementary public schools' 5th grade studen
