Leadership program dedicated to providing equitable leadership training to college women in the state of alabama. the mission of the leading edge institute is to "change the face of leadership in alabama" in order to move our state toward a more equitable and prosperous future. leading edge participants experience a nine-month leadership training program allowing them to develope their leadership skills, expose them to critical issues facing the state of alabama, and attempting to inspire them to stay in our state of alabama, and attempting to inspire them to stay in our state to make a difference on those issues about which they feel most passionate.
