Nhs operates eleven retirement communities in Alabama, which includes 1,272 skilled nursing (snf) beds, 198 assisted living (alf) units, 93 specialty care assisted living (scalf) units and 192 independent lliving (il) apartments. Through these communities, nhs provided 383,980, 36,865, 15,253 and 53,786, reesident days of snf, alf, scalf, and il services.
