The purpose of the farmington valley symphony orchestra (fvso) is to enrich the cultural lives of our community and the musical lives of our players by providing high-quality programs of classical and pops music. fvso further supports the appreciation of classical music by providing music education programs in our public schools (e.G., children's concerts; collaborative concerts with school instrumental groups, choral groups, and soloists; and student musician scholarships).
